For convenience, we can consider a milling production line as a system consisting of different pieces of equipment, each one performing a specific processing step. To illustrate the types of machinery we produce, which are part of a given production line, we can outline the following equipment:

• Raw material’s loading and filtering equipment: bucket elevators and filtering sleeves;
• Grinding equipment: vertical and horizontal hammer mills equipped with computerised switchboards with PLC system;
• Ground product’s sorting and/or mixing equipment: horizontal mixers, crushers, and separators;
• Storage equipment: weigh-filling machine, rotary and drum cleaners, silos, discharge pits.

To carry out the production process, it is also necessary to design a transport line which can be formed by different conveyor belts, such as chain conveyors, screw conveyors, paddle conveyors, and pneumatic conveyors, as well as vacuum systems.
