Our horizontal mixers have been specifically designed to actively and deeply mix granular and powdery products of any kind. The mixing action is carried out by a stirring device inside a trough container and consisting of a shaft rotating on ball bearings to which a double spiral is fixed. This component creates a product crossflow making the mixture homogeneous as much as possible. Our horizontal mixers’ main features are: stuffing box seal on the shaft; removable walls; inspection hatch on the lid; control gearmotor for heavy duty use. Mixers can be made in: carbon steel; in AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel. Their simple and resistant components as well as their high mixing efficiency combine to make MO series’ horizontal mixers extremely practical and affordable machines. Their control unit is equipped with an electric engine and a gear reducer with belt transmission.
